You Can Work Wonders! ShareLife 2014 ShareLife’s slogan identifies the power each of us has to make a positive difference in the world. Small goodwill gestures, unseen acts of kindness, quiet charitable deeds, all rooted in our Catholic faith. Funds raised in school for the marginalized in our community will be duplicated many times over in the form of care, guidance, and neighbourly love. Thank you to all school communities for caring about people, living in faith and acting with charity. You are truly “Working Wonders”.

Hall Secondary School in Dufferin-Peel continue their tradition to support their local community through their support of ShareLife! Thank you to all staff and students who made the day possible. Holy Spirit Elementary School in Dufferin-Peel donates proceeds from charity hockey game Natalie V. and Adrianne M. from Holy Spirit Elementary School in Dufferin-Peel are shown here with Arthur Peters donating the proceeds of $700 from their ShareLife hockey game. We would like to thank organizer Mr.Tallevi and staff and students for their generous gift towards ShareLife. St. James Global Learning Centre student chooses ShareLife as her fundraising NGO. Recently, Arthur Peters, ShareLife Executive Director, was interviewed by Madison W., a grade 6 student at St. James Global Learning Centre in Dufferin-Peel. Her topic was government and conflict resolution under the theme of Sharing the Planet and she chose to learn more about ShareLife as an NGO. We would like to thank Madison for her generosity, shown here holding the ShareLife elementary school poster along with Mr. Peters. Poster Challenge Winner Announced for 2014 ShareLife Elementary Schools Campaign! Congratulations to Kristina Cunanan, a Grade 8 student from St. Teresa of Avila CES in DPDCSB for sharing her time talent and treasures with ShareLife. Her poster has been chosen to be the official poster for the Elementary School ShareLife campaign reaching over 450 elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Toronto’s five catholic English speaking school boards. Thank you Kristina for sharing your talents with ShareLife and the community at large. Candy Gram Sales at Holy Name Catholic Elementary School – YCDSB makes an impact! Before the Christmas break, grade 8 teacher - Natalie Lind and the Luke 4:18 group at Holy Name CES raised close to $800.00 by selling Christmas Candy Grams. Thank you to all staff and students who participated, making a tangible difference in the lives of the marginalized in our local community. St. Marguerite d'Youville Continues Tradition of Giving St. Marguerite d’Youville Catholic Secondary school recently presented ShareLife Director Arthur Peters and Father Pat O’Dea, Pastor of St. Marguerite d’Youville parish with a cheque from the proceeds of their annual feast day event. Since 2008, the Dufferin-Peel school has raised over $83,000 to support the work of ShareLife agencies. Presenting the cheque are Kevin Greco, Principal of St. Marguerite d’Youville school , Tony Whelan, Chaplain, and members of the Student Council at the school.
